Privacy
Privacy policy.
Plain English. If anything below is unclear, ask us — we'll explain and we'll update this page.
Last updated: 2026.
What we collect
- Information you give us — name, email, phone, address (for on-site visits), the device or system you need help with, and a description of the problem. We collect this when you submit the contact form, email us, or call us.
- Photos and files you send us — error screenshots, photos of equipment, or other attachments you choose to share.
- Diagnostic information — when you book a remote support session, we may collect system information needed to fix the problem (operating system version, software versions, log files). We collect only what's necessary for the work you asked for.
What we do not collect
- We don't ask for passwords unless absolutely necessary, and we recommend you change any password we did need to see.
- We don't sell or rent your information. Ever.
- We don't run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
Why we collect it
- To reply to your request, schedule the work, and do the work you asked for.
- To send you occasional service-related messages (appointment reminders, follow-ups).
- To keep records we need for tax, warranty, or legal reasons.
How long we keep it
We keep repair records and communications for up to 3 years for warranty and tax purposes. You can ask us to delete anything earlier — see below.
Where it's stored
Our records live in the systems we use to run the business (email, scheduling, invoicing, file storage). Those providers are listed below and have their own privacy practices:
- Email and calendar provider (e.g. Google Workspace or Microsoft 365)
- Invoicing / payment provider (e.g. Square, Stripe, or PayPal)
- File and photo storage (cloud provider with encryption at rest)
- Remote-support platform (used only during a session you initiated). The platform is session-isolated, access-scoped, and audit-logged.
We do not control how those providers handle data; their privacy policies apply once data reaches them.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses only the cookies strictly necessary to make it work. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar advertising trackers. If we add analytics later, we will update this page.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- See what we have about you.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Delete records we're not required to keep.
Email info@valentinerepair.com with the subject line "Privacy request." We respond within 30 days.
Children
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian has booked service on behalf of a child, only the information needed for that booking is collected.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top and, for material changes, mention the change on the home page.
